Lifting Equipment (LOLER)
LOLER requires that all equipment used for lifting is fit for purpose, appropriate for the task, suitably marked and, in many cases, subject to statutory periodic 'thorough examination'. Records must be kept of all thorough examinations and any defects found must be reported to both the person responsible for the equipment and the relevant enforcing authority.
We provide inspections for all types of lifting equipment, including:
Lifting Tackle (Slings, Shackles, Eyebolts etc).
Forklift trucks.
Fork Truck Attachments
Cranes (Mobile, overhead travelling etc).
Garage Equipment.
Construction Equipment.
Farm Equipment.
Thorough examinations should be carried out at the following intervals:
6 monthly, for any lifting equipment and/or accessories used to lift people and as well as any personal protective equipment.
12 monthly, all other lifting equipment that doesn't carry people.
